Educational goals
IMC Normandie is a dynamic, student-centered private school, focused on delivering high-quality undergraduate instruction and training, and fostering the creative talents of their students.
Created and owned by the faculty and staff, IMC Normandie aims to :
- Offer a professional learning environment, from teachers to equiment, techniques and spaces.
- Offer a one-to-one educational experience, allowing close knowledge sharing between teachers and students through small learning groups.
- Guide each student and help him develop his full artistic and creative potential.
- Develop a real synergy between the different departments, allowing the students to exchange, grow from each other's techniques and experience and work together on collective projects.
- Focuse on practice but never forget theory, the aim being to develop students’ adaptability and skills, improve their sense of aesthetics and fully understand the film industry.
- Prepare the students to enter the motion picture industry upon graduation, making them aware of the difficulties they might encounter and ready to face the challenges they will be presented with.
- Organize regular Masterclasses with famous guest speakers (directors, animators, actors, technicians), allowing discussions and experience sharing.
